Dear Maryland PBL Members,

Over the last few years, we have all been working hard to bring Maryland PBL back to it's status as a strong, viable student organization. While we have encountered much success over the last couple of years, but this is the time to drive it home. Maryland PBL is growing both in size and quality, and it's time to make it worth all of our while.

Each and every one of us needs to strive for success and to make our state the strongest that it has ever been! Maryland PBL, for the first time in over 15 years, has a National Officer. But to take that even further, Maryland PBL is the host to TWO national officers this year!

In keeping with this year's National membership theme, we all need to understand the power of one! Each of us has the power to involve one friend in PBL this year, enriching that person's life and providing the strength in numbers that our organization needs! PBL offers the student far more than just resume building, it offers extensive networking opportunities for it's members which often turn into strong comraderies among students, advisers, and business people across the country. If each of us can involve just 1 new member, and strive to retain 1 current member, our organization can truly open the doors to unprecedented levels of success!

Let this year be the year that Maryland PBL is recognized for its success, let us grow as a state to become one of the strongest in the Eastern Region, and the nation! I know that Maryland PBL has the potential for great things, and I need each and every one of my fellow members to help this year's state and national officer teams to Unlock Our Potential!

Warmest Regards,

Steven G. Brower, Jr.
2005-2006 Maryland PBL President
2005-2006 Eastern Region Vice President
