National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC)
Students and advisers participate in motivational general sessions
and professional development and career planning workshops. For many
FBLA-PBL members, the NFLCs are a convenient and affordable way to
experience much of the education and excitement of an NLC. Mark your
calendars for the 2004 NFLCs, and check back for more information

State Leadership Conference (SLC)
The state leadership conference wraps up the year by holding
state officer elections and offering members workshops on various
business issues and topics. Members get a chance to spend three days
at a hotel networking with other members and business professionals
from all over the state in a professional setting. During the three
day conference, the members get a chance to attend the workshops,
general sessions, listen to guest speakers, and participate in the
electing the next year's state officers. One of the most important
events that goes on during the conference is that the members get
to get up early on a Saturday morning to test in one of over 30 competitions
that are offered through the national organization. That Saturday
night, an award ceremony is held to recognize the winners of the competitions
and the newly elected officers are inducted. The top two winners from
each event will advance to compete at the National Leadership Conference.
